JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Accountant who can make sound financial decisions by recording transactions, compiling and analysing data, performing audits, assist with budgets and financial forecasting and computing taxes.
  
They must also be detail-oriented, professional and analytical in order to achieve company success. Moreover, they must also have the ability to deliver complex quantitative data to decision-makers.

The successful candidate must be able to work 20 hours a week from Monday to Friday on a dayshift schedule, and able to work on an eight (8) hours shift every 1st and 16th of the month.
  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Perform partial checks of the posting process;
• Ensure payroll is accurate and records are maintained.
• Payroll Processing
• Completing of Company Income Tax Return
• Preparation of BAS and lodgment
• Raising of client invoices
• Reconciling the bank accounts
• Follow-up on overdue accounts
• Monthly reporting to management team
• Identifying business incentives offered by the ATO and government authorities
• Lodgment of ATO
• Ensure the business follows all required legislation.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by the ---------- cation and Work Experience:
• With at least three (3) years of Accounting experience;
• Experience with Australian Accounting/Taxation is essential.
• With extensive experience in Bookkeeping, Forecasting, Taxation etc.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Proficient with Xero Software.
• Available to work part-time for 20 hours per week. He/she is expected to render 8 hours every 1st and 16th of the month.
• Excellent English communication skills;
• Can start immediately
