Professional Editor

Looking for a Seasoned English Professional editor, with at least 2 years of professional experience.

The position entails editing and proof reading both scientific and non-scientific content, within the medical field. This is not academic content, but covers subjects such as chiropractic, neuropathy, functional medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, and similar subjects. The audience will be the general consumer, who is interested in health, wellbeing and regenerative medicine.
Therefore the content will not be written or edited in an academic form, but is composed of technical and scientific content.
The position may also comprise editing of transcribed material, depending on the specific client.

Our content needs to be proof read, evaluated for correct grammar and overall flow, quality and a sense of faulty English, unnecessarily repetitive expressions, or phrasing. The position requires a very good understanding of English and a responsible approach to the task, where questions are asked if anything seems incorrect, and where technical recommendations are welcome.

This positions requires an indistinguishable level of English, to a native, English speaking editor. The position is for 30 hours a week, for $150. This is not a training position and applicants who are not fluent in English, not experienced, not professional editors or who do not have experience in similar content will not be considered or applied to.

This is not due to impoliteness, but simply due to the fact that this is not what is wanted.
