IS Engineers / Server Admin

Has knowledge of the following:
Linux Operating System.
Create/manage web services (Apache / Nginx w/ php-fpm).
DNS management.
DB Management (Mysql / MariaDB).
Scripting language such as Bash, Perl, ---------- vOps tools
Network Troubleshooting Skills


Responsibilities
• To live out the NaXum Core Values
• To develop and innovate on our platform
• To attend weekly client sprint review calls, accountable for the team’s results.
• To attend daily stand-up meetings with the operations team.

1.Server Security:
1.a Responsible for credentials and keeping track of the users and access and their privilege (database users).
1.b Check for Vulnerable Scripts, & compromised sites (tracker).
1.c Keeping logs and detect hack attempts and avert them.
1.d Constant check on updates & security of the server firewalls
1.e Whitelisting/blacklisting compromised or allowed IPs
1.f Keep track/repair/backup of the health of all databases, (tracker, builder)

2. Server Setup:
2.a Setup tracker/builder/node servers for production and staging.
2.b Maintain and update Staging servers.
2.c Setup/install/generate Certificates, CSRs, and SSLs and making sure all are updated.

3. Files, databases, and Scripts Maintenance
3.a Constant check on backups and making sure the backups are up-to-date across servers.
3.b Backup and Secure source codes periodically.

4. Server Maintenance
4.a Report for filled storages
4.b keep track of inode counts to avoid server lockdown (tracker)
4.c Check for downtime

5. Mailing Server Maintenance
5.a Making sure our mailing system is up-to-date and in compliance with modern email policies.
5.b SSL Checks for compliance and monitoring of expiration dates.
5.c Check Mail queues and detect failing mailers.

6.System Setup, Installation & Configuration
6.a Installing Builder & Tracker Systems
6.b Configuring Domains, IPs, mailing systems, & Reverse DNS
6.c Managing all Domain renewals and registration
6.d Setup Mobile App Endpoint
6.e Mobile App Rollouts
