Senior Autocad Draftsperson WIndow / Facade Designer

Com-Al Windows, based in Perth, Western Australia is a highly successful market leader in the field of commercial aluminium windows, doors and multi-storey facades.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Autocad design draftsman to build our drafting team in Manila. The successful candidate may also work from home if required.

The candidate will be responsible for shop drawings, material takeoffs, setouts and liaising with the staff and clients at Com-Al Windows.

Senior Role – Design Draftsman
• 5 years + experience on Autocad.
• Ability draw complex arrangements and discuss design proposals with clients.
• Excellent English written skills.
• Some knowledge of construction contracts would be advantageous, i.e. liquidated damages.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare shop drawings for all window types, bifolds, stackers, awnings, doors, sliders, curtainwall, roof lites, canopies, spider fitting walls etc
• Experience in extrusion and die design.
• Accurate, highly organised, excellent work ethic and ability to do overtime.
• Computer literacy in Excel, Word and email protocol such as Aconex.
• Working knowledge of Solid Works.
