Job Description and Qualifications:
I. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Employee Engagement
a. Plan, organize and execute corporate activities and organizational engagements – annual corporate events, quarterly townhalls, teambuilding activities, office engagement activities, cultural change, corporate social responsibility initiatives, etc.
b. Design and recommend programs that will maximize employee development, engagement and satisfaction.
c. Facilitate and adopt relevant social media best practices into the corporate culture and manages the company’s internal social media related engagement projects, as well as recommending new systems and vehicles to improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of information.
d. Act as point person for employee internal communication in coordination with the different departments of the company.
2. Learning and Development
a. Recommend, design, develop, and implement innovative learning and development programs that support the full employment lifecycle, including onboarding, career development, succession planning, and management and leadership development.
b. Conduct training needs assessment, maintain technical expertise, and research best practices in learning and skills development trends to implement effective learning development programs to ensure continuous growth and development of the employees.
c. Maintain records and tracks employee development outcomes and reports.
d. Research and recommend subject matter experts, third party service providers for external technical / non-technical, and sales-related training and facilitator needs.
e. Facilitate employee trainings and coordinate learning and development programs including scheduling, event logistics and vendor relations.
f. Evaluate effectiveness of trainings and programs implemented to promote progressive employee learning and development.
g. Ensure learning and development programs are within budget and are aligned with corporate goals through analyzing employee productivity and recommending new approaches or modifications that will improve efficiency or effectiveness.
3. Performance Management / Total Rewards
a. Recommend and execute effective performance management including formal performance appraisal system. Gather and summarize performance appraisal for management review.
b. Plan, evaluate, and implement appropriate methods and systems for recording performance related documentation and monitoring compliance with performance appraisal system to ensure complete and accurate performance review.
c. Assess employees’ needs by conducting organizational climate survey to determine motivation and engagement factors for employees.
d. Participate in salary market surveys to determine prevailing reward practices, rates and benefits.
e. Design and execute effective communication strategies and success metrics relating to rewards and performance management of the company.
f. Contribute to the review of existing systems and policies and recommend and develop new policies and programs in the rewards and recognition, performance management, coaching and mentoring.
4. Organizational Development
a. Plan, develop, recommend, and lead development programs for employees.
b. Analyze business operations and processes, identify developmental needs, and propose programs and initiatives to address those developmental needs.
c. Contribute to the restructuring of the overall organization to increase efficiency and align activities with business objectives. This includes conducting job evaluations, working with Managers to update job descriptions and table of organization.
d. Review the impact of interventions on employee retention and job satisfaction and, reports and recommends programs and solutions to the CEO.
e. Document processes and present progress reports to the CEO.
f. Assist the CEO and Finance Officer in the annual HR planning and budgeting.
I. Minimum Qualifications
· Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology and/or other related courses
· Minimum of two (2) years of work experience preferably as Human Resources professional specialized in employee engagement, learning and development and organizational development.
· Familiarity with project management and performance management and total rewards programs
· Great attention to detail and confidentiality
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Willing to be assigned in Paranaque City, Philippines.
