Research/Lead Generation VA

At Unintentional Media, we try to create the most relaxing videos on YouTube. Our flagship channel is the largest unintentional ASMR channel on YouTube and boasts over 260,000 subscribers at present. Our YouTube presence includes multiple active channels mainly in the sleep and relaxation niche with more to come.

We also provide video editing and YouTube strategy services for select YouTubers and businesses.

We aim to go above and beyond to create the best videos possible and we are looking for someone who will do the same in this role.

Ideally we want a candidate who is a great communicator, manages their time well, is organized, enjoys researching and liaising with others, and hopefully someone who enjoys ASMR, relaxation videos or some form of videos like this (or is interested in trying!)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Research contact information for individuals or brands identified for collaboration with our channels
- Contact these brands explaining who we are, our process, what we offer, etc.
- Respond to emails and liaise with the team to determine what terms to the collaboration should be agreed.
- Research potential new videos for our channels, trends in our niche and other individual research projects as desired.
- Help build a script and a process to reach potential clients/collaborators on a consistent basis.
- Lead the cold outreach product strategy as well as client communication.
- Develop new business via email communication

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT

- Excellent internet research skills. You can find any name, email or contact address if it exists on the internet!
- You have excellent written English and can understand English very well.
- You pride yourself on being a great problem solver.
- Some email sales experience an asset but not required
- Cold email outreach experience an asset but not required
- You are organized, honest, very accountable and always meet deadlines.
- You are ambitious, eager to improve your skills and learn.
- A lot of this role will involve listening to audio so a good pair of headphones or speakers would be ideal.
- You like ASMR, sleep, relaxation, videos.

This role has the potential for a lot of room for growth into several areas for the right candidate.

This will be a part time role to start (approx 20 - 25 hours per week) with the potential to become full time quite quickly.
