Image Editor / Photo Editor

Hi, my name is Marcus Bourlard - I'm the sales director for Rendition, a visual design studio in California.

We're looking for an Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom expert who can take on image editing / photo editing projects.
You'll be handling the overflow work that we don't have the capacity for in-house.
This will be on an as-needed basis with the opportunity to move up to a part-time or full-time position based on performance.

There will be a broad range of tasks that differ with each project.
One project may involve editing wedding photos, while another may involve editing product images.
**Please mention if you excel at a specific type of editing. Alternatively, we can have you on-call for that specific task, rather than having you do everything.

Here are some examples of tasks that might need to be done:
- Product image editing
- Image manipulation
- Portrait enhancements (lighting, smoothing, blemish removal, etc.)
- Background removal / changing the background
- Object removal / adding an object
- Photo restoration
- Color correction
- Composite creation
- General touch-ups

Here are a couple of examples of our clients (though we consider jobs from anyone):
- Photographers
- Designers
- Social media influencers
- Non-profits / governments / schools
- E-commerce businesses
- Real estate businesses
- Fashion companies
- Tech companies

This role will be an exciting learning experience for anyone who is already well-versed in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom.

>>>The first project is ready to be completed as soon as possible & should take about 2 ---------- short, we need to create 3 image composites of a client with a red Jeep car, in a countryside or outdoor setting.

The client will have to be edited into or next to the Jeep.
There are many images of the client to choose from & the red Jeep can be a stock image or taken from Google.
We need these images to look as interesting & high-quality as possible as they will be seen by thousands of people.


If this is done exceptionally well, the client will move likely forward with the project & require anywhere from 20 - 150 additional composites, which we will let you handle as well.

Being able to communicate comfortably in English is necessary. Understanding is most important.
Most conversations will be through messaging, but some instances will involve voice or video calls.
**Let us know if you are better at typing or talking in English. We will try to accommodate your needs.

While previous employment history is not required, we expect you to be highly skilled with Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom.

The starting pay for this role is $6 USD per hour.
There is no limit to how many hours you work, as long as the projects you have require it.

If you are promoted to a part-time or full-time position, we will switch to a monthly salary if preferred.
