JOB DESCRIPTION: WRITER/RESEARCHER
Your main responsibility will be covering the scripts for our Every Town Video series. Every two weeks, you’ll provide us with two new scripts revolving around a single creepy true crime story and each script will run roughly between 2,500 – 2,800 words. These topics will be chosen by you and will need to be approved beforehand.

Your secondary responsibility will be to research topics for our channel across the board and send those on a weekly basis. So each week you’ll send 2 topics for Scary Mysteries, 2 topics for Patreon as well as 4-5 stories for our twisted News segment to choose from.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation for this position will be $175 USD/week paid out every other Friday.
13th month paid
Possibility for a raise after the first year

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
If you’re interested in the position please write a roughly 750 word script on the following topic in the format of an Every Town script located in the link above.

TOPIC: Brian Carrick McHenry in Johnsburg Illinois

Do not try and fit the entire story into the 750 words. Rather, write it as if it were a normal length script (2500 – 2800 words) and wherever it ends off is fine. We don’t need a conclusion as we just want to see your writing style and if you can stay with our format.
