Podcast Producer/Editor & Marketer (YOU SHOULD LOVE ROCK MUSIC!)

I am looking for a podcast editor and producer for two podcasts that I ---------- would be helpful if you are also confident in Social Media Marketing where you can grow our following and get us, new listeners, to the podcast.

We have two podcasts:

OnlyBands - Onlybands covers everything to do with australian music. We bring you the latest news, releases, announcements, reviews, premieres, and more every week. Make sure to join jed, josip, and quintin over on the onlybands podcast as they kick back with your favourite aussie acts over a few beers for plenty of laughs, tour stories, and even a sneaky preview or two.

The Friendly Aussie Podcast (FAP) - Hosted semi-regularly by Mitch Keys and Joe LaGrasso, the ‘Friendly Aussie Podcast’ intends to cover all things even tangentially related to the Australian cannabis scene. Of course, you can come to expect a decent share of social commentary on the issues of prohibition and legalisation – but we’ll also be sure to initiate some more fun, easygoing discussions.

Only bands will be doing 1-2 episodes per month that are 1-2 hours ---------- dio ---------- often has 4-5 microphone channels.
FAP will be doing 1-2 episodes per ---------- dio only and sometimes Zoom ---------- rmally only 3-4 microphone channels.


Then when each episode is released we'll need:
- Editing the podcast, removing mistakes, breaks, bad segments, inappropriate things, cleaning up the audio, mixing the audio, making sure all tracks of audio aren't playing at once etc. We have a bit of a process to share with this.
- A thumbnail/feature image (We have a graphic designer on board if needed)
- Social Media post (We will typically write the copy)
- A audiogram clip was created (We have a tool for this) and uploaded as a reel.
- Social Media story posts sharing it

This will be the bulk of your work. The other part will be spending a few hours each week commenting and trying to find new followers for the podcast on Instagram ---------- will also be great if you reach out to guests we want to have on. At least starting conversations with them for us to secure them as a guest.

This job is likely only going to be 10 hours per week to start with. If you do well this can increase. If you're good with video editing, we are looking to start making the podcast video format soon. Your hours wont be too important, we are based in Australia so our time zone is similar. We would like you ideally promote the podcast around 4-8pm Filipino time.

I run a digital agency outside of these two podcasts so there is always room for more work! If you're talented at Social Media you can very quickly get 20-30 hours of work per week from us.

Pay will be $4 - $7 USD per hour. We may increase this if you're talented and help these projects ---------- will depend on your experience and results.

A little about you!
- Please be a self-motivated person, we don't want too much hand holding after initial training. We will trust you to do a good job and expect a good result.
- To do really well at this job you should love music. Mainly punk/pop punk and rock music! This will help you understand what we're talking about and produce content for it.
- You want to be a part of the team and produce something bigger. We aren't looking for someone short term. You will be provided opportunities to grow, earn more money, more hours and be a part of big projects!
- You have audio and video editing experience.
