Social Media Manager/Copywriter

We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager/Copywriter to help manage our social media platforms.

We need someone who can write concise and clear copy for advertisements, publications, social media posts, and websites. The writing should inform and engage our target audiences.

We need someone who can help strategize and plan content for us.

Our ideal applicant is a proficient, dynamic, and team-oriented with an eye for detail. We would like to meet you if you can comprehend project needs quickly and provide meaningful perspective.

This position is PART-TIME.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday; 9 am - 1 pm CT (Schedule can be discussed if there’s a need to do flexible time)

Salary: $400.00/month first 3 months (Probation Period); $600 after 3 months; Yearly Appraisal


Job Responsibilities:
- Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, funnels, etc.)
- Working with creative professionals to build marketing projects and campaigns
- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Collaborate with managers, designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages, etc)
- Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
- Provide hashtags appropriate to social media posts
- Comply with meta/tiktok ads requirements, and community guidelines of specific social media platforms.
- Strategize and plan marketing content.
