JOB OVERVIEW

MakerState is looking for a part-time self-starter marketing coordinator that will be assigned with the following tasks:

You will have to read through our SOPs and former marketing campaigns and begin using them within one week
Set goals for increasing sales through your marketing
Post our events and camps to various registration websites and manage those listings
Research and suggest best practices and new ideas for driving sales
Manage monthly marketing campaigns

Email
management - scheduling emails, sending emails
Write phone sales scripts and manage others to make sales calls
Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities
Research and run paid (ads) and earned media campaigns
Lead Generation - actively source new business opportunities, raise awareness of current campaigns, investigate and find contact details for targeted key areas

Bonus if you can do Social Media:
Write and post to our social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
Manage social media posts in Hootsuite
Write listicle/short blog posts


Requirements:
Must have previous experience as a marketing coordinator or a similar role
Must have experience running email campaigns
Detail-oriented and has solid understanding of marketing techniques
Creative, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Available to work some hours during Eastern Standard Time or graveyard shift
Ability to work 10-20 hrs per week or more
Preferable but not necessary: Knowledge of STEM/coding education (Science,Technology, English, Math, Scratch by MIT, Minecraft, Roblox, TinkerCAD, Piskel, Robotics etc.)
