Estimating and Take Offs, Material Quantities, Plan Drawing

We are offering a fulltime position for a person to complete material plan take-offs and quantity requirements and creating a scale drawing as well as spreadsheet with list of requirements. We are a construction based company in Sydney NSW Australia.

Preferred Turf supply & install Synthetic grass and Rubber Softfall surfaces to a wide range of customers. We provide a site measure and quote for all projects, so require that enthusiastic person to join our dynamic, fun, fast paced team to calculate the material quantities, material estimates, as well as finalise the plan/drawings to send back to the customer.

You would be required to complete on a daily basis:

* Take-offs & bill of material quantity requirements from various file types including sketches/hand drawings, construction/CAD plans, tender documents
* Provide a list of materials required - based on product being used
* Complete a drawing/plan showing area, requirements, direction and location of materials
* Provide a spreadsheet showing all materials, sizes required etc

Must haves:

* Very high attention to detail
* Previous experience in reading construction plans & tender documents
* Able to convert the quantities to a drawn plan
* Previous plan drawing experience
* Fast turnaround of plans & quantities

Working hours would be 8am - 5pm (AEST) Monday - Friday - 42.5 hrs per week
