About the position
The Digital Design and Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of Applied Training
Solutions’ digital marketing strategy. The primary purpose of the role is to increase brand health and drive
acquisition of new business, across all digital channels. Key expectations of the role include a positive contribution to
team culture, as well as the development and implementation of new and innovative approaches to lead generation
and sales conversions, with the aim of net-positive sales growth.
Reporting relationships
The Digital Design and Marketing Manager reports to the General Manager.
Within the context of this position, the Digital Design and Marketing Manager often works closely with:

? Business Development team
? IT Services team
Your core functions
In this role, you are accountable for the effective and efficient execution of all aspects of Applied Training Solutions’
approach and implementation of its digital marketing strategies, including the ATS website and other online content,
Social Media presence and campaigns, search engine ad campaigns, SEO, business and course brochures and EDMs .
This includes:
1. Manage the design, development and execution of the digital marketing assets and strategies and plan, in
accordance with Applied Training Solutions’ operational targets and legislative compliance requirements,
particularly the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.
2. Deliver all digital campaigns across all digital channels.
3. Develop and execute SEO strategy and plan.
4. Review and maintain website and digital content including brochures and other collateral, ensuring all
content is up to date, on brand and compliant.
5. Develop and execute the ATS’ social media strategy – including analysing, planning, scheduling and
monitoring.
6. Growing and managing social media channels, engagement and direct interactions.
7. Designing, creating and implementing engaging digital content (e.g. videos and other rich media).
8. Report on CRM analytics
9. Undertake regular reviews of Applied Training Solutions’ digital performance, providing recommendations
based on review/analysis.
10. Monitor and report on competitor digital activity in the market, adjusting our strategies as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
? Experience contributing to a positive team and organisational culture.
? Demonstrated 3+ years’ experience in a similar digital role.
? Experience developing and executing a detailed digital marketing strategy that includes SEM, PPC, SEO,
social media (organic and paid), website, blog and EDMs.
? Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics with the ability to summarise key data into consumer
insight to improve engagement and conversion.
? Demonstrated experience managing a website’s content including familiarity with web design principles, and
content management system experience.
? Demonstrated capabilities in growing digital leads and conversions.
? Experience with a CRM or an automated
? The ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and bring structure to the execution of plans and projects
with multiple stakeholders.
? Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
? Experience in digital design and marketing, ideally within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
