We are in need of reliable, hardworking, and thorough EDITOR. Someone who is very hands on, very skilled with SNS and must have experience in writing.

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Editor is to edit in a concise, efficient and timely manner any assigned news broadcast. The News Editor also ensures the newscasts meet our quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Complete editing assignments under extreme deadline pressure.
Ability to adapt to changes with digital technology.
Covering breaking news events as part of a fast-paced assignment /digital team.
Working in multiple content management systems.
Knowledgeable about how to use social media to generate digital traffic and engagement.
Ability to identify potentially viral ---------- monstrate sense of urgency with breaking news
Working under tight deadlines.
Planning ahead for social, digital and coverage of events.
Ability to manage content on a variety of ---------- petencies and Requirements:

Requirements:

5 year experience in real online media
Strong assignment editor/ writing skills
Solid news knowledge
Excellent written English, including good spelling and grammar
A meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detail
The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
