SEO Content Writer

Hi Everyone,

We are a digital marketing agency looking to hire a part time or full time SEO content writer to help build our company's blog. This is a 40 hour/week position, although we are flexible. We've been growing rapidly over the last 5 years and need a content writer to join our team to help create, build, and grow our company's blog.

Requirements:
- Must have excellent internet connection
- Fluent written English
- Able to write detailed 2000+ word guides with case studies and examples
- Able to conduct keyword research to generate content ideas
- Must know how to use Semrush. If you prefer Ahrefs, you must have access to it.
- Know how to use common SEO tools like: Ubersuggest, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Google Analytics.
- Strong SEO knowledge, including how to build backlinks, how content marketing works, how to do SEO audits, how to do keyword research

Weekly Responsibilities
- Do keyword and topic research ideas for the following week.
- Review blog ideas with our team to select ones to write about each week
- Be able to write 2000-4,000 words of content per day, depending on topic difficulty
- Weekly Zoom meetings to review your blog posts and generate more ideas.


Some examples of the type of content you'll be writing:

- Social media marketing: account setup, growing TikTok followers, etc.
- Local SEO / Off-page SEO: backlink creation, how to grow local SEO, guide to optimize a local listing, etc.
- General business topics: how to setup a website.

You don't need to be an expert in all (or any of these topics) but should be willing to learn about these topics through research. At the end of the day, we'd like to bring on someone who's willing to learn, writes well, and is dependable. We are looking for a long time employee.
