I need an intelligent and positive attitude assistant to serve as an account manager for my Local Business clients who have hired me to manage their online presence and help them attract new business. These clients want for visibility in the search engines, social media strategies that work, and to see more phone calls and leads come in to their business.
I am in charge of creating and directing marketing strategy for my clients, but I need help handling the work load of implementing these strategies.
Basic skills I need my VA to have:
• High speed stable internet connection
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with me (and possibly client) via email, phone, and skype – not too big of a language barrier
• Able to create and send me daily reports of completed tasks
• Honest and trustworthy – able to be trusted with sensitive client information, passwords, accounts, etc.
• Not afraid to ask questions when stuck
• Able to learn new marketing tasks quickly and make executive decisions within the limitations I set.
• Familiar with Basecamp Project management or able to quickly learn to use
• Familiar with Google Docs/Drive
• Familiar with making simple spreadsheets for compiling data
• Familiar with managing Wordpress – updating themes, plugins, virus scanning, troubleshooting, etc.
• Able to make website changes as requested– adding new content pages/blogs, changing images, adding new product to ecommerce shop. (I can provide some training if necessary)
• Knows how to perform quality Keyword research – especially for local businesses
• Content marketing research and planning – mostly blog articles I ideas
• Social media management – scheduling posts, responding to comments and questions, promoting blog posts and YouTube videos – Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, etc.
• YouTube Video/SEO Optimization – You’ll use a tool called Tube Buddy to research best tags, keywords, titles for videos. I will provide training.
• On-page SEO optimization using Yoast SEO Plugin for Wordpress
• Able to create business directory accounts for clients – Yelp, Google My Business, etc.
Bonus Skills – not required, but a huge PLUS
• Basic web design or graphic design skills a PLUS – Photoshop or Illustrator. Creating custom YouTube channel art, FB timeline covers, Website Slider images, cropping images, webpage / landing page layout.
• Familiar with Google Adwords a PLUS – high quality score optimization, keyword research, location targeting, evaluating ad performance.
• Familiar with Facebook Ads a PLUS – creating custom audiences, installing tracking pixels, boosting posts, conversion tracking
• Video Editing a PLUS – Short local marketing videos for YouTube and websites.
• Able to read and write in decent English a PLUS – I will need you to proofread web content that I will have writers writing for my clients. You will make sure writer performed task as directed and that content is written well.
• Familiar with Quickbooks Online – invoicing, quotes, billing.
