SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are currently looking for SOFTWARE ENGINEERS who has an experience and familiarity in PYTHON and SCREEN SCRAPING!!

JOB DESCRIPTION

We have several websites that contains data that we need to regularly collect and store into CSV table.

Some websites have APiS which may be used to pull the data. Most do not and will require SCREEN SCRAPING to collect the data must be pulled once they.

The task will involve two ---------- ase 1: construction building the data pipelines (using APIS and SCREEN SCRAPERS) from each website to the CSV table that run daily)

Phase 2: Maintenance on an adhoc basis maintain and fix data feeds pipelines that break( ex. Update SCREEN SCRAPERS if the UI is updated).

All the code should be built in python.

We will be able to provide specifications of the table headers and where to find each number on the relevant website.

We will also be able during Australian business hours to answer questions and clarify specs .

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Experience and familiarity in PYTHON
•Experience building and maintaining SCREEN SCRAPING
•Ability to interface with a variety of APIs
•Familiarity with unpacking JSONs and other data type. •Familiarity with data manipulation in PYTHON.
