Copy Writer - Part Time / Freelance

Based out of Brisbane, Australia - digital marketing and consultancy firm Speak Your Truth ( ---------- ) will be hiring several key specialists for full-time, part-time, and freelance positions over the next few months as it enters a phase of expansion.

Providing a full suite of creative services, Speak Your Truth specialise in digital marketing, PR, consultancy, brand activation and event marketing and management.

Speak Your Truth is currently looking for a HIGH LEVEL, experienced Part Time / Freelance Copywriter capable of writing a plethora of assets and collateral.

We are looking for somebody who possesses:

• EXCELLENT written and spoken English language skills
• The ability to conduct thorough research to create intelligent, engaging and compelling articles, media releases, website content, social media posts, newsletter copy, email copy, posters and flyer copy and more
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills. We know every job ad says this, but it’s crucial to us ????
• Exceptional attention to detail pertaining to grammar, punctuation and all other core copy writing skill sets
• The ability to take the time to understand, research and write for different targeted audiences based upon individual project requirements
• An understanding of core underpinning digital marketing protocols such as effective content creation, sales funnels and purchase conversion
• The ability to work within a virtual team environment to:

a) ensure an overarching knowledge of our entire suite of clients and services to ensure best possible client outcomes are met
b) work effectively with social media managers, graphic designers, director etc to play your part in the content / asset creation chain

• Ability to provide expert high level reports on your own work
• Ability to put together copy for client reports based upon results from other tea ---------- mbers and organise that into an appropriate brief for the graphic designer
• A track record of working with various teams remotely and the ability to work unsupervised. You won’t be using time trackers or similar. If we hire you, we trust you and you will be assessed upon the quality and timely delivery of your work.
• Either provide or receive artistic direction and briefs from pre- to post-production in order to meet required outcomes ie write or receive effective briefs to or from graphic designers, social media account managers etc
• The ability to write a better position description than the one you are reading now :-)

Minimum Requirements:

• Post graduate degree in communications or journalism or extensive proven (or similar) and / or demonstrated workplace experience
• Fluent in both speaking and writing English
• Exceptional skills in using Microsoft office
• 2-3 years' copywriting experience
• Stable and regular working conditions
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of professionalism, self-motivation, independence, and work ethics.
• Outstanding editing and conceptual abilities.
• The capacity to communicate innovative views and ideas with ---------- TE: If you're proficient in any other areas, programs etc please indicate this in your application.

This is a long-term freelancing or part time role applicant.
