A well-established Construction company in Australia is looking for an experienced Tender Writer to join their expanding team. The role will take on various tenders and take charge of leading the team with submitting comprehensive proposals to new and existing clients.
To be successful in this role you will need to a solid experience in strategy of putting bids together, tendering, finance, analysis or contracts management. You will possess both strong written skills and good understanding in financial and numeracy analysis.

• meeting with clients over zoom to discuss tender specifications and details
• Research clients and develop bid strategies that support client needs and provide compelling differentiation.
• Coordinate and write compelling and compliant responses, proposals, EOIs, tenders etc.
• Evaluate tender requirements and complete tender submissions within the required time-frame and in line with company standards and protocols.
• Write key sections of submissions, including planning, drafting, gathering information, editing content and ensuring compliance with standards
• Develop content and templates and maintain the library
• Creating and maintaining construction project profiles
• Liaising with estimators for pricing
• Liaising with health and safety for required information
• Liaising with finance for financial information
• Proof read documents to improve clarity, grammar, structure, format and the pitch
• Format Word documents to a high standard/working in with graphic designer
• Perform other ad hoc
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as Tender/Bid Writer.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, journalism, English, marketing or similar
• The ability to engage with clients to understand to meet their needs and produce professional, compelling proposal content.
