Creative Social Media Content Writer and Strategist

We are interviewing for several content writing positions including for social media content writing, video descriptions, long-form content writing, etc. for a variety of industries.

QUALIFICATIONS
•Native US English, Quality writing and engaging content for various social networks including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
•Understanding of appropriate tone, lingo, and messaging based on target audience behaviors and industry specific standards.
•Selection of appealing, commercial-use images and videos to complement text (when applicable)
•Understanding of various post types from brand awareness, promotions, announcements, competitions, etc.
•Proven experience as a social media copywriter or similar role
•Hands-on experience using various social media platforms
•Solid knowledge of SEO
•Solid knowledge of hashtagging
•Proficiency in Native U.S. English Required
•An analytical mind with problem-solving attitude

We are an extension of a 9 year full digital marketing agency based in the U.S. Overall, while looking for talent, it is very important to us that we find someone who is a good fit for our culture. We are a fully remote operation and meet on Thursday nights via Zoom to hang out. Our work is important to us, but so is enjoying our work and those we are working with.

This is not for entry level/beginners who are looking for an opportunity. While we will be able to provide some feedback, we do not have an onboarding/training. You will need to have experience in writing high quality social media copy that must be excellent for native English.

• You must be able to write perfect U.S. English, and your grammar and sentence structure should meet that standard.
• You must be able to creatively write content that sells the reader on wanting to take action.
• You must possess great research skills. You do not have to know the niche, but you must be able to complete thorough and efficient research in order to properly write the content.
• You must be dependable, trustworthy, and provide proof of experience.
• You must have a “Get the Job Done” Attitude.
