Social Media Specialist

IBEX Roof is looking for a motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role.

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and publishing engaging video and image content on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube. Our goal is to grow our target audience, build brand awareness, and improve sales.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of proven experience in managing and growing social media accounts. (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Linkedin, etc)
- A good writer who is capable of writing social media captions and content.
- Proficient with social media creation tools like Canva, InVideo, or other video editing tools
- Having a keen eye for design - knows the basic principles in graphic design and best practices
- Full of ideas and can catch up on social media trends and topics
- Can work in PST hours
- Experience in growing a social media community group is not a requirement but a huge PLUS

Responsibilities:
- Develop ideas for social media reels and short videos.
- Create reels or short videos to be posted on Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, and Facebook.
- Make engaging social media posts with images, carousels, etc.
- Create a monthly social media calendar for automated posting using a scheduler.
- Create engagement with followers through comments, likes, etc.
- Provide weekly or monthly social media updates for the digital marketing team.
