JOB OVERVIEW

Hello,

We are looking for a sourcing and purchase assistant for our company in the field of professional kitchen equipment. Within a multicultural team, you will be responsible for :

- Sourcing :
Sourcing of existing and new products.
Requesting quotation, price list and product catalogue.
Negotiation with suppliers to ensure that target product specification and budget ?are met.
Pre-calculations of the sourced products to be approved.
CBM computation. FCL or co-loading.
Supplier mapping (co-loading).

- Order processing :
Sending of confirmed orders to suppliers.
Payment requests (down payment, full payment and inspection fee). Sending of ?proof to suppliers.
Document preparation for logo artwork, box packaging and SKU.
Creation of barcodes per product, mother carton and spare parts.
Coordination on sampling and mass production status.
Booking of Final Pre-shipment inspection with SGS.
Final calculation.

- Logistics :
Checking of lowest freight rates and routes from different forwarders.
Shipment booking with the nominated forwarder.
Counter-checking and approval of shipping documents.
Coordination between shipper and forwarder about sailing schedules (ETA and ?ETD).
Payment requests for customs duties, freight, transport and other fees.

We are looking for someone who has the following skills:

- Experience of at least 3 years in a similar position
- Perfectly at ease with the logistics and sourcing business
- Knowledge of incoterms
- Someone who is detail oriented
- Someone who is curious and likes to look for the best opportunities
- Someone who is very organized
- Comfortable with project management tools, google sheet and IT tools in general
- Someone who demonstrates a high level of integrity
- Good English is mandatory
- Job is 100% remote
