JOB OVERVIEW

Actsphere is an independent insurance agency located in the Greater Houston Area of Texas. We seek an applicant who will assist our company with social media marketing, client communications, and customer service. The ideal applicant should be familiar with creating social media marketing ad campaigns using Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Familiarity with other SM platforms is desirable. Applicant must also be comfortable with answering phones and communicating with clients in English as well as responding to emails and texts in English. Employee must have strong command of the English language.

Position Functions

Social Media Marketing
1. Create written in-house client and referral partner communications via email, text, automation templates
2. Create social media posts using Canva and other carrier social media tools
3. Approve welcome cards sent out via our service after verification of policy payment
4. Create ad campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, & YouTube
5. Respond to Google reviews and notate them in agency database
6. Communicate with carriers on portal access issues such as password resets and updating agency licenses
7. Assist in creating/ordering agency marketing materials such as notecards, t-shirts, and giveaway items
8. Other functions as assigned by management

Customer Service
1. Service and assist in the renewal and the remarketing of current client policies
2. Look for cross sell opportunities when speaking with clients
3. Process change requests to existing client policies
4. Assist clients in filing claims
5. Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified time frame
6. Document all material conversations conducted with insureds and/or carriers in Ezlynx
7. Other functions as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Must be an assertive self-starter
2. Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing in English
3. Ability to respond maturely and clearly in a professional, friendly manner to client or referral partner concerns
4. Knowledge of graphics design principles and social media marketing is necessary
5. Knowledge of file types and their appropriate use as well as basic photo editing skills.
6. Familiarity with posting and advertising on social media platforms
7. Knowledge of Facebook Business Suite, ad creation, and custom audience creation is needed but can be learned on the job if necessary
8. Possess a genuine willingness to learn; be intuitive and resourceful; and be coachable.
9. Display leadership skills, including the ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others.
10. Have a strong work ethic and leadership skills.
11. Must work well in a team environment

Other Requirements
1. Ability to use personal computer, agency database and automation systems, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
2. Must have dedicated, quiet workspace within the home as well as a reliable internet connection and a second monitor. An agency laptop will be provided.
