Video Editor

Plant Addicts Inc. is looking for someone to join our marketing team as a Video Creator and Editor. This person will be responsible for creating videos for our marketing channels and to be hosted on YouTube and shared across different channels. One of our core values is being customer focused, making this position an important role for our company as we create content to help people garden and grow plants.

This is a part-time, work from home freelance position. A computer will not be provided.

Job Responsibilities
Create videos about plants using images and text from articles.
Ensure the videos are concise, easy to understand & enjoyable to watch.
Load videos on YouTube.
Assist our graphic design team as-needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Fluent in English
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Experience creating and editing videos
Multi-tasking
Problem solving

Other Beneficial Skills
Gardening and plant knowledge a plus
Understanding of YouTube SEO
Graphic design skills including Photoshop

Education and Experience
Previous experience creating videos required
Proficient computer skills required
Familiarity with office software like Google Docs
