Vacation Rental Customer Service Associate

We are looking for a representative to run the daily operations of our short term rental business. The ideal candidate has experience managing vacation rentals, has a happy bubbly personality, takes initiative, can work independently and is solution oriented.

Daily tasks to be performed:
* Responding to issues/concerns of the guest during their stay
* Filing and responding to Airbnb claims
* Answering and making outbound calls from guests and vendors
* Tracking all maintenance work orders from submission to completion to ensure all rental units are fully functional and meet guest expectations
* Assist in tracking daily progress of cleaning assignments, and provide support for on-site housekeeping teams so that rental units are cleaned and inspected before guest arrival.
* Maintain FAQ log
* Maintain guest complaint log
* Suggest solutions to recurring problems
* Suggest improvements to daily processes

Experience:
- 1+ years in vacation rental or hospitality management
- Previously worked for Airbnb, VRBO, Booking or a hotel is a plus

Skills/requirements:
- Friendly and hospitable attitude and personality
- High speed internet connection and back up location for work if connection goes down
- Quiet place to work with no background noise (no roosters, dogs, children etc)
- Strong written and spoken English
- Ability to problem solve independently
- Ability to calm guests down and deescalate conflicts
- Must have own computer or laptop
- Must have own cellphone and be available for outbound and inbound calls
- Ability to work weekends
- Must be accountable and take pride
