Creative Content Writer

Star Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Content Writer who will be responsible for creating content for websites and other digital platforms. Work in collaboration with other existing Marketing and Communications Officers in showcasing the organisation and its various activities within the community.

The Role will involve the following:

Develop and manage social media content and channel
Desktop publishing (including Photos, Pages, and Adobe Acrobat) and website content management platform, WordPress
Prepare and manage content marketing
Work collaboratively with tea ---------- mbers in the development of brochures, website content, and other digital platforms announcements
Contribute to social media marketing and advertising
Create and edit content for our company websites
Contribute to internal and external communications
Manage and/or assist with the distribution of content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc)
Assist in the coordination of marketing events, sponsorships, and other activities
Curate announcements and blogs via Facebook regularly to ensure key messages are reaching the community. Boost posts and manage Facebook ad accounts for marketing campaigns.
Prepare articles for newsletters, website, and other platforms

Skills and attributes:

Exceptional English & communication skills
Previous experience in content marketing, social media, and website management.
Strong written and oral communication (blog, website, and social copywriting)
Ability to work autonomously and in a team with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent time management, and organisation skills, with a motivation to generate own ideas and work while remaining flexible to rapidly changing priorities
Be a collaborative, fun, and a friendly team player
Producing creative marketing designs and content
A love for words, passion for writing, and making complex information clear and digestible for the everyday reader
Good online research skills and openness to working with tea ---------- mbers
Experience in content creation, writing, communications, journalism, or another related discipline
