Who are we?

Who is a good fit?

The person applying for this role should love to over-communicate. If they see that a booked show is canceled, they immediately take action to find a replacement show for the guest. They should be someone who has a strong mastery of the English language as they will be emailing shows in the US and with English speaking clients.

They should also love learning and podcasts as a good amount of time will be spent doing podcast ---------- experience with podcast booking is necessary! I will teach you.

Who is not a good fit?

If you’re unable to write in English well, this job is not for you. This is not something that can be hidden for long as grammatical/spelling mistakes will show up in the emails you send. If you don’t like listening to podcasts/doing internet research you will not like this work.

What work will you be doing?

Performing research on podcasts in various categories
Finding the best contact information to reach the podcasts
Writing Custom Pitches for various podcasts
Performing administrative tasks such as providing information to the guest about each show, scheduling/rescheduling interviews, and tracking your progress across a few different platforms.

A regular day might look like this: It’s the start of the new month and you are assigned to book 4 guests on 4 shows each. You know it takes around 5 pitches to book a show and so you calculate that you’ll need to send out 50-60 pitches this month or 15-20 per week. You schedule today to do podcast research to find the 50-60 shows that you’ll be pitching. At the end of the day you find all 60 shows and check the email account to see if there’s any tasks that need to be done for previously booked shows. You realize a show scheduled for later this week still hasn’t sent the interview link to the guest and so you quickly follow up with the host. As your day comes to a close, you schedule out the rest of your week and provide an update to your manager.

Hours per week: Starting out at 20 hours and scaling up to 40-50 within a few months if it’s a good ---------- pensation: $4 an hour for the first month then $6 an hour after the 1-month probationary period.
