We’re building the center of the universe for DAOs. NATION is a product that will enable every human with an internet connection to have an unprecedented degree of monetary and creative freedom to form new groups and manage those groups.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to provide technical expertise across our code base (Rust/React), and establish the architecture and processes that will set us up for success. An ideal candidate would have the ready knowledge and communication skills to jump right into a number of ongoing projects, and the expertise to solve the most challenging problems along the way.

You should be capable of assuming responsibility for the architecture of our dApps, the (off-chain) services they depend on, and the client library used by our apps and by third parties integrating our ---------- curity, reliability, and ease-of-use of these components are of the utmost importance.

You’re an engineer who wants to create beautiful software with the speed and efficiency of a bullet train. You care immensely about working with competent, like-minded people and writing high-performance, maintainable code that delights users.

Minimum Requirements

- You have a strong technical background, with 3+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale systems or equivalent experience
- You are comfortable working on a new product under fluid conditions, seamlessly balancing tactical and strategic considerations
- You prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what will last and scale
- You are a strong front-end coder. Regardless of which frameworks you use or how you learned them, we’re looking for people who can write clean, effective code. You should already have proficiency in JavaScript and an understanding of how web technologies work.
- You are passionate about building user interfaces that enable users to solve their problems.
- Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- You have served as the technical lead and defined the roadmap for complex projects spanning multiple teams and functions.
- You have experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- You work well cross-functionally and cross-team and earn trust from co-workers at all levels. You are often cited as the inspiration for engineers that join your team.
- Senior engineers feel they are able to learn from you. You care deeply about mentorship and growing engineers and managers.
