Shopify Developer

We’re on the lookout for a Shopify Developer who ideally has experience in front-end work as well as building apps and extensions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for delivering HTML, CSS and JavaScript using Shopify. Working alongside our global-based team you will work to deliver experiences for desktop, tablet and mobile. There will be opportunities to work in a responsive context. You will be a team player, who can self-start and isn’t afraid to ask questions and a good communicator with excellent time management skills. Having exceptional attention to detail and taking pride in your work is essential.

• You will own the Front-End development cycle of Shopify & Shopify Plus sites for some really exciting brands
• You will work closely with our Project Management & Account Management teams to ensure we deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
• You will contribute to our development processes and help us to ensure we are building high-quality sites using the latest technologies


SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
What we're looking for:
• A solid track record of Shopify experience (2 years minimum)
• A team player with an incisive approach to working out problems

You have experience in:
• LIQUID
• Markup and Styling with HTML5 and CSS/SASS
• JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
• Git Version Control
• Linux command line
• NPM/Yarn
• Webpack
• Theme Kit
• Shopify CLI
• TypeScript
• React (or other JavaScript frameworks)
• Docker

It would be beneficial if additionally, you had:
• Previous agency experience delivering mid-large scale projects
• A good understanding of Design and UX

WORKING HOURS
• Mondays to Fridays 8:00 am - 4:00 PM (Philippine time)
- this may change depending on how the role develops. However, this is not a night shift role as we don't do a lot of business in the USA. Mostly UK, NZ and Australia.

SALARY
Starting offer: Php 110,000 (negotiable)

LOCATION
Remote, anywhere in the Philippines (but excellent internet required)
