I am looking to hire a part-time Customer Support Staff with some technical skills.
# Looking for people with experience with:

- Using Business Intelligence web dashboards (like
- Basic usage of the terminal
- Basic understanding of how databases work
- Experience with Kanban workflow
# Responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer queries
Our customers are both inmate's families (who communicate with us using
- Create/ update customer support documentation
- We do not provide phone support, so you don't have to answer/ make any phone calls, it's entirely web-based.
# Pay and working hours:
Given the current number of customers we have, responding to the daily customer support currently takes ~ 1-2 hours. As the number of customers increases, this time will also increase. Our customer base is growing at ~30% month over month.
If you have experience in programming (or you're learning), there are also opportunities for you to learn/ work
- front end development via React
- writing scripts (using typescript) to automate customer communication
- updating copy (and making pull requests via git)
- ect
So this is a great match if you're looking to improve your programming knowledge.
I don't care when/ where you work, as long as support messages are responded to within 1-3 days. Occasionally, you might be asked to perform other administrative tasks (like sending a message to a specific user, updating customer support documentation, etc).
I live in Japan, so my time zone is very close to the Philippines, which makes it easier for us to communicate, predominantly using chat apps, unless it makes more sense to have a call instead.
