Corporate Accountant/CPA for Travel Companies

Hello!

We are a Canadian group of companies in the travel space.

Our two main brands:

IRIS PROPERTIES - vacation property rentals & property management in Canada
PERSONAL VILLAS - vacation property rentals in the Caribbean & Mexico

We are looking to hire an experienced Corporate Accountant / CPA / Controller to help manage the financial and accounting aspects of both companies.

We have never had an accounting tea ---------- mber so you would be in charge of getting our companies organized from a tax and bookkeeping perspective (ie setting up our quickbooks systems, reconciling some historic transactions from the past 3-6 months, etc).

Qualifications:

Excellent organization skills
Knowledge in QuickBooks
Documenting transaction details
Putting together financial reports
Fact-checking accounting data
Notify management of any accounting errors
Recording financial transactions
Preparing month-end rental statements for owners
General knowledge of Canadian tax practices (we can also get you training materials for this)
