We're looking to hire a full time, permanent Vice President of Marketing who can lead our marketing team, oversee the digital strategy for our client accounts, manage the day to day activity of the agency, and improve visibility of our agency.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
We are rebuilding the entire agency from scratch after losing most of our clients since the CEO took an extended leave of absence.
Our original team was 15 people. We are starting fresh with only 2 tea
We are a Black owned/African-American owned agency, and we will train the right candidate on the nuances of understanding Black American culture so they are successful in this role.
Since we are selling in the US market, the successful candidate must have a total command of the English language, and should have a strong understanding of US consumer preferences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate as the Vice President/COO/Director of Digital Marketing of the entire agency and the marketing department and prioritize marketing projects, set timelines, and assign tasks to tea
- Recruit, hire, train, and terminate tea
- Create standard operating procedures and ensure documentation is up to date
- Set weekly meetings for the marketing team to ensure projects are on track
- Meet with clients to review marketing strategy as needed
- Build our digital marketing roadmap for each client account and our agency
- Manage all digital marketing channels for clients and our agency (e.g. website, blogs,
- Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare budget
- Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
- Oversee the social media accounts of our clients and our agency
- Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
- Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment
- Liaise with Product, Design and Sales directors to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies
- Motivate digital marketing team to achieve goals
- Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Director/Manager (5+ years)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup
- Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function
- Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
- Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software
- Familiarity with web design
- Excellent analytical and project management skills
- Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills
- BSc degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field or relevant certifications
- This position requires “EXCELLENT ENGLISH” skills.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Internet speed must be 10mbps or higher, at least 3mpbs upload speed (speed test required)

SCHEDULE:
2 shifts are available for this role:
7 AM EST to 3 PM EST or 8 AM EST to 4 PM EST (New York time zone)
The right applicant is flexible and can make time to occasionally chat with the CEO between 6 PM to 1 AM EST at least twice a week (the CEO consults for another company during the day and is only available for in-depth conversations during these hours).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (not required, but strongly advantageous):
- Experience working at a digital marketing agency
- Experience marketing to US or Western customers
- English at a native level
- Experience managing
