We are a media and commerce company looking for a contracted multimedia content management and administrative assistant to work independently but as part of a team 40+ hours/week, full-time remote.
Responsibilities include:
- Do research on submitted topics and write content (blog articles, forum answers);
- Proofread, format, and SEO optimize content before publishing;
- Help plan and execute content syndication by turning our blog articles and forum answers into videos, PDFs, and slides to share on other popular websites (search engines, repositories, forums), linking back to our website content sources and/or offers;
- Help plan, create and schedule social media content;
- Influencer marketing projects;
- Engaging with site users and social media followers when necessary;
- Executive and personal assistance in developing processes and streamlining the back-end of the business.
Requirements
- Excellent English proficiency;
- Good understanding of media awareness;
- Experience with technology is essential as multiple systems are in use. We need you to know how to use tools like WordPress, WordHero, WriterZen, and Clipchamp (watch videos on Youtube about how to use these tools);
- Driven / self-motivated, figure-it-out type of person that leads with a service attitude, who takes ownership of certain responsibilities and finds new ways to improve;
- Committed and quick to learn;
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
- Excellent communication skills, especially written;
- Deep curiosity and ability to express yourself creatively;
- Desire to improve your work by giving and receiving feedback, collaborating, iterating, and editing;
- The drive and determination to do great things;
- Loves to be and make things organized and has great attention to detail;
- Your own laptop with broadband access to reliable internet and a quiet place to work;
- Professional, full of integrity, loyal, respectful, warm, kind, and fun to work with.
Experience with WordPress blogs and commerce websites, graphic design, and web design is an advantage.
