B. JOB SUMMARY
Is under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, develops, recommends and
implements approved finance and admin policies, systems and procedures to efficiently and
effectively manage the financial resources, assets and all other resources of the Company, which
will result to financial sustainability & growth of the Company
Responsible for the overall management of the Finance and Admin Units of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
1. Analyzes and interprets accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and
performance of the organization and submits the same on a timely manner to the
Executive Director, Finance Committee, Board of Trustees, partners and networks.
2. Submits, analyzes and interprets accurate and timely financial reports for the
management tool on decision making and devising relevant strategies and report
compliance to project donors and partners.
3. Safekeeping, accounting and guarding all pertinent documents, assets and other
records, reports and items of value to the organization for the pursuit of its vision mission
and goals.
4. Develop, install, implement and monitor all policies, procedures and systems particularly
the MIS, internal control and asset management, organization wide.
5. Attend, comply and assist the regular and nonregular audit and submit other reportorial
requirements of government and other regulatory institutions.
6. Assist in the search and recommendation for professional services such as but not
limited to external audit and legal/tax consultants.
7. Plans, oversees, and reviews the regular preparation of organizational budget.
8. Manage, review, monitor and analyze proper stewardship of fund, cash and resources
for proper and timely investment and operational use.
9. Overall responsible in the effective installation of office administration system in all
offices ensuring all are compliant with the government requirement and organization
standards.
10. Overall incharge in the proper management of asset, equipment and other inventories
through the admin unit such as acquisition and procurement of properties/equipment,
maintenance and improvement, safekeeping and inventory of all assets pertinent
documents and records.
11. Provides team leadership and wholehearted support to the efficient and effective
implementation of standard finance and accounting policies, plans, programs, and
procedures.
12. Conducts performance evaluation of his/her staff, provides coaching, mentoring and
recommends necessary training and development interventions regarding finance and
admin team.
13. Establish and maintain a professional relationship with different banks, funding agencies
and funding partners.
14. Qualifies, assess and recommends necessary designated banks for the organization.
15. Performs other related function/s that may be assigned by the Executive Director.
E. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. Education : Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, preferably
Certified Public Accountant
2. Training : Has relevant training on Accounting Standards, taxes and
government institution’s policy.
3. Work Experience : Five (5) years relevant experience in Finance, Accounting and
Admin and least 1 year in managerial position and handled at
least 5 direct reports in a department.
4. Required JobSpecific Competencies:

c. Problem solving and decision making skill
d. Communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
e. Proficient in computer and preferably knowledgeable in Accounting software
