Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for the establishment, implementation and review of overall business development framework, programs and interventions for EP clients, and LIFE & Demo Farms, in coordination with Research and Development unit. His/her key roles would include identification of client’s business
development needs (such as product development, networking, marketing, packaging), and the building
up of relationship/partnership between EP and the potential network or institutional partners for EP
clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development Services:
a. Development of BDS framework, programs and other BDS interventions for EP clients, which is aligned with EP’s vision, mission and core values.
b. Identifies trendsetter ideas (BDS for farmers) by researching industry and related events.
c. Identifies, screens, builds and manage relationship with potential network and/or institutional partners for marketing, linking and/or development of client’s products.
d. Prepares and updates inventory of client’s products, and other necessary client’s info.
e. Gathers and safekeeps important documents such as contracts and other contract requirements between EP, client and the institutional partner.
f. Explore opportunities for new partnerships & learning by partnering with different institutions, BDS providers.
2. Project Management:
a. Prepares financial projection for EP LIFE Farm and Demo Farm based on agreed operations.
b. Monitors output of EP’s LIFE farm and Model Farms and provides inputs to generate.
c. Develop and implements BDS projects and programs that will result to marketing or EP’s programs, products and services both for LIFE Farm and its other non-financial and financial operations.
d. Prepares and submits documentation and reports in relations to BDS unit accomplishments and contributions monthly.
3. Others:
a. Works harmoniously with different department and contributes to the achievement of organization’s overall plans.
b. Represents organization in official business gathering as assigned by management.
c. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
