Content Writer (Remote)

The Cockpit is real estate technology app that provides freedom and growth to its customer base.

We’re looking for a Content Writer to start immediately!

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Research industry related topics (articles, interviews, studies, videos, etc.)
SEO driven caption writing
Create well written content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, company website, etc.
Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies before publication
Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability
Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website
Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content
Ad hoc tasks
Schedule: US work hours (40+ hours per week)

Location: This is a remote job

Qualifications:

At least 1 year proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or relevant role
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, or related field preferred
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
Impeccable researching skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Able to work on a graveyard shift
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g. MS Office)
Tech Savvy
Proactive attitude
Technical Requirements:

USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature
Working Webcam
Main and backup computer: at least 1.8 GHz processor with at least 4GB RAM
Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 mbps wired connection
Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 mbps
