Content Writer
TradesFormation is a business education company, specialising in training and coaching for Tradies, predominantly plumbers and electricians. The role on offer is for a dynamic content writer.

As the content writer, your No.1 responsibility is to produce industry-leading written content for our business and sales coaching company and our trade clients.

You will also be responsible for creating, arranging, and implementing copy across various marketing platforms, including but not limited to Socials, Email Campaigns, our website along with our client's websites for SEO purposes. Here at TradesFormation, we are a Trade specialist company that is striving to improve the lives of tradies across Australia.

This role would be great for someone who has extensive experience in producing top-class copy and content. Our ideal candidate has attention to detail and the ability to communicate a consistent message across many channels.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Research industry-related topics in order to create well-rounded content
- Write clear marketing copy (EDMs, GMB posts, Blog posts, webpage copy) to promote our products/services, and our clients
- Prepare well-structured drafts using SEMrush content marketer and writing assistant
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate written content
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed

To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 2+ years experience in content writing
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or similar
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
- Impeccable grasp of the English language
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
- Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Not essential, but highly desirable:
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems WordPress & Kajabi
- Past writing experience for Australian clients and Australian audience
