JOB OVERVIEW

Viking Asset Management LLC is looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website. The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to create and adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content.

To be successful as a content writer, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement. You will work remotely.

Responsibilities as a Content Writer:
Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original ---------- veloping content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
Assisting the company in developing content for marketing campaigns.
Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current or future content.
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone.)
Create and update website content as needed
Write long form compelling blog articles and books.
Create enticing product descriptions.
Generate landing page copy for pages across the website.
Additional Roles and Responsibilities:
Promote the brand effectively online by responding to comments on articles or on relevant forum posts.
Managing the company's email marketing strategy by designing and executing an effective email marketing strategy.
Learn how to use online tools we have adopted. This could include all kinds of different tools and software, right through from email automation to a daily task manager.
Manage the company’s social media presence.
Analyze the performance of existing content.

Skills Requirement:
Familiarity with web publications.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress.)
Time efficient and productive.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
