3D Modeling Designer

3DMakeable has a job opening for a full-time 3D Modeling Designer and is seeking candidates wanting
a challenging and rewarding career with an innovative Canadian 3D printing company.

Responsibilities will include:
- 3D Modeling - Polygonal using Mesh-based 3D software (Blender,Maya,Rhino,3D Studio Max)
- Designing new products for various vertical markets
- Work within specific dimensions and assessing 3D printability
- Generating solid, meshed, and facet 3D models
- Take part in company consultations on product development
- Offer creative insights into new ways to brand products

Required Qualifications:
- 5 years experience with 3D modelling software - (Polygonal)
- Experience with component design and high attention to details
- Understand complex geometry and how to integrate parametric 3D models
- Demonstrated 3D modelling abilities in form of an online portfolio
- Ability to comprehend and articulate 3D design workflows
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (in English)
- Hard working, very punctual - works well with instructions
- Achieves completed work schedule within specified time-frames
