Frontend Developer

We are a fast growing digital marketing agency looking for a front-end developer well versed in Java-script to join a small team of developers to work on a range of frontend development projects across a variety of sectors including finance, crypto currencies, tobacco, media and trades. One of our core clients is a globally recognised tobacco brand which we provide the ongoing development of their dedicated retail trade website which sits on the Salesforce platform however the main development is completed in standard code formats before apply new frameworks which will be provided internally.

The work consists of building beautifully designed website pages that utilise custom features to help support our users engagement with the platform.

We build everything from a mobile first perspective as 90% of our user base access the website via their mobile phone. You will be working alongside the Senior Technical Lead and a skilled junior developer.

We are looking for a very organised person who will be able to manage their time effectively and work with the team during preset work hours to ensure quality delivery of work. You will need to be a very motivated person who is confident and able to work well within a very small team structure. You will have a big influence on all areas of development and should enjoy a sense of ownership and pride in what you are working on.

Responsibilities

You will:

Work with the Senior Technical Lead to d ---------- the best architectural ---------- velop beautiful website pages from scratch
Work with design & content teams to develop exciting new page design & ---------- liver a test-driven approach to the development.
Write code to a very high quality.
Code review other tea ---------- mbers' work providing clear direction and feedback.
Ensure documentation is complete, current, and accessible.
Maintain close communication with other tea ---------- mbers.
Stay up to date with latest development methods and present them to the project team when appropriate.
Have an analytical approach and a keen eye for detail.

Skills
Key demonstrable skills include:
A strong understanding of Javascript
Frond-end development, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
Experience working in staging/testing environment before public launching
Exposure to Salesforce components desirable but not essential.


Experience / Knowledge
You will need to have extensive (minimum 2-3 years) commercial experience with the required skills.
Good practical experience with modern responsive web and UX design.
Good understanding of coding best practices.
Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new methodologies, technologies, and development techniques.
Motivated and flexible individual who can work to deadlines when under pressure.
Ability to work on own initiative and as within a small team
Have good communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

You will be expected to be able to demonstrate these skills during an interview, presenting previous work that is appropriate to this role.

The interview process will consist of two interviews followed by a technical test.
