We are an Australian company looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) who can research, ideate, brainstorm, and execute website designs and functionalities by himself / herself as well with fellow tea
Responsibilities:
• Work along with with tem in executing UI/UX / visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developers
1 - Discover : Research aspects related to the project/s
2 - Define : Be able to synthesize and understand research into feasible ideas
3 - Design : Create design solutions while brainstorming with tea
4 - Deliver : Execute the plans and designs concluded by the team into prototypes
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Create prototypes from existing user flow while building on them to improve total usability
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback
• Minor task: Create simple collaterals such a business card, shirt design, brochure
• Present work with the team and management
• Constant coordination with Product Team
• Contribute to the improvement of the whole system
• QA task: Regular quality check of interface / usability (website / mobile)
• Carry out Usability Studies with participants
Requirements:
• Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and general UX/UI design software tools (Figma/Sketch preferred)
• Software skills must include: Sketch, Figma, Adobe Suite and/or similar
• Strong working knowledge of UI/UX, research, service design, design thinking
• Ability to prioritise projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time
• Good communication and collaborative skills, both visual and verbal
• Good command of the English language (dealing with foreign co-workers)
• Has a keen eye and interest in Graphic Design
• Great analytical skills and able to empathize with the end-user
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the field
• Good to have, non-essential: Able to proofread or attention to details in the copy
• Must have: A portfolio for review
