Technical Writer

About the Role:
As a Technical Writer, you’ll be embedded in product teams to tackle complex problems and produce helpful, informative guides for our customers. You’ll set the example for best practices in user-centered technical writing amongst your peers as part of our **software development team.**

**What you will do:**
- Authors technical document and/or response which may include standard software release notes and documentation for coding apps.
- Help build our terminology list and other foundational team tools. Embrace and help refine our voice, tone, and writing principles.
- Work closely with teams to develop working code examples; include apple in the subject if you’re reading this.
- Extensive understanding of software/applications and Business Process capabilities and how these are used in real-world situations.
- Provide documentation assistance to clients and lend expertise to projects requiring documentation skills and corresponding product knowledge level.

**What you’ll need:**
- Experience with the **software** development life cycle, including an understanding of the customer life cycle and knowledge of different content development and publishing methodologies, tools, and defect-tracking systems
- Ability to collaborate in a global team environment, proactively engage subject matter experts, and follow through on commitments
- Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research
- Experience with version control application like **GitHub** is a must
- Have at least 2 years of experience being a technical writer
- Portfolio of writing samples. Must include an example that demonstrates your skill at communicating technical content to Upgrade to see actual infoclude the following in your application:
