We are a U.S. Based company looking for a data driven, SEO expert. Must have experience and strong knowledge of SEO and how it works. An ideal candidate is easily trainable in our methods for SEO and makes data driven decisions. We are looking for someone with experience in SEO but also analyzing data to solve problems. The ability to automate processess and data collection will help streamline our SEO practices.
We are in process of a major website overhaul. You will be exposed to HTML and javascript frequently and will need to be comfortable with both.
- Responsibilities -
Learn and perform our company techniques for SEO and ranking.
Analyze data related to site ranking and SEO tactics we use to identify what is working and why
Automate tedious data collection processes to make data driven decisions easier
Identify valuable data sources and automate data collection processes
Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
Research and develop SEO testing so we can find out what is working
- Requirements and skills -
Proven experience as a SEO expert
Proven experience as a SEO oriented Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Full Stack (data driven) developer
Must be able to identify a problem and come up with intelligent ways to automate the process or build processes to solve it
Experience using a data driven mindset to solve business problems
Experience in data mining and web scraping
Knowledge of Python, HTML, & Javascript
Ability to automate processes and data collection using existing APIs or developing your own using Javascript or existing Frameworks
Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks to solve problems and analyze data
Analytical mind and business acumen
Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
Problem-solving data driven aptitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbal and written
