We are looking for a virtual marketing specialist to double the revenue of our small business within one year by establishing the business and our range of products with worldwide virtual event resellers, maintaining communications with and creating business opportunities with business-to-business connections, and independently leading outreach campaigns.
You will be responsible for creating promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns, maintaining the positive representation of Alex Ranahan Virtual Events Entertainment, and implementing improvements to current marketing channels, systems, and touchpoints. Working with Alex Ranahan, you will assist in freeing him up from the operational marketing work in the business in order for him to effectively manage the company and scale it worldwide.

Plans and lists have been made on how to effectively target virtual event resellers and maximise current marketing strategies. However, whilst this lays a strong foundation for onboarding into the role, the right candidate will be able to bring their own ideas to the table and will be given freedom to implement marketing strategies how they deem fit, and so grow the position and their own competencies within it.
The position is full-time (40 hours a week) working anytime between 9am - 10pm UK time (British Summer Time is 7 hours behind Manilla time) Monday - Saturday that suits the candidate, and allows them to communicate easier with Alex and more effectively with contacts across multiple time zones (mainly Eastern Standard Time and Pacific Time with USA and Canada).
Outcomes:
1. To grow the business by implementing and devising marketing strategies alongside the Company Director:
• Create a streamlined promotional package template for initial contact with event directories and resellers to better entice resellers and agents to sell, promote, and take interest in our virtual and in-person services.
• Bring business, partnerships, joint ventures, and affiliate marketing opportunities to the company by soliciting resellers and freelance positions from our list.
• Work with the Company Director (Alex Ranahan) to implement referral, repeat/old business, flywheel, subscription, follow-up, non-sale follow-up, and upsell promotional campaigns to maximise business from existing clients and contacts.
• Conduct market research (and utilise current research) to identify trends and gaps in the market for events to be created, new opportunities for services, and to update prices based on the market average and patterns of successful companies.
• Create product forms for in-person events based on the virtual event product forms and identify any additional setup, resources or logistics that would be needed as part of the services with Alex. This includes keeping product forms up-to-date.
• Purchase and implement sales lists for the services of Alex Ranahan and Alex Ranahan Virtual Events Entertainment.
• Communicate with business partners to identify what they really want from the transactions, services, and business partnerships with our organisation.
2. To bring in more leads, and improve Alex Ranahan Virtual Events Entertainment and the services of Alex Ranahan’s visibility on the internet by overseeing outbound and outreach campaigns in order to scale:
• Work with an SEO expert, Google Ads specialist, social media advertising team, and website maintenance to reach out and appeal to our target market to improve sales and our representation.
• To work with Alex Ranahan or with external specialists to update the website, improve current promotional systems and channels, and create landing pages for advertising campaigns.
• Create and solicit a list of resellers, virtual event agencies, potential partnerships, and freelance markets and directories to promote and sell the services of Alex Ranahan Virtual Events Entertainment and Alex Ranahan as a freelance specialist.
• Follow up with potential leads through an

• Identify improvements in the relationships with business contacts to optimise what we already have to maximise results as we expand resources and capabilities as an organisation.
• Work with Alex to provide more up-front value for the company to prospective leads and roll out and reinforce the irresistible offer for clients purchasing our services.
• Identify in-person and virtual event and workshop collaborations and partnerships that would be a valuable use of Alex Ranahan’s time, resources, and delegation to the team.
• Work with Alex to reduce the value chain of touchpoints from prospect to sale being carried out with our resellers.
• Identify opportunities for seasonal promotional campaigns.
3. To liaise with the Company Director to spearhead campaigns, keep him updated with progress and troubleshooting challenges and opportunities, and to create results independent of the Company Director as quality control:
• Work with Alex Ranahan to brainstorm and implement marketing campaign and optimisation and maximisation strategies to make the most out of the current business contracts, services, and opportunities.
• Send daily after-action reviews to Alex at the end of each day to briefly summarise what was worked on, achieved/completed, any challenges that need to be overcome or require assistance, and what was learned from the day.
• Operate independently without relying on Alex for repeated quality control and revisions to tasks. To take the initiative on new tasks, strategies, and business opportunities without requiring micromanagement. To routinely clock in and out at the start and end of the working day using WhatsApp and a time tracker.
• Work professionally and intelligently with other members of the team, freelancers and independent agencies, business contacts, and strategists to market effectively.
• Be responsible for own quality control with sharp attention to detail on spelling mistakes, layout, grammar, and accuracy and relevance of content.
• Keep to deadlines; communicate with verification and clarification using Asana, mobile, and WhatsApp, and liaise with Alex Ranahan about hiring assistance if necessary.

Reliable – Able to commit to and stick to preferred amount of weekly hours and time of working and communication in UK time, communicates when will be absent from working with a week’s notice, maintains high standards, quality, and accuracy of work without needing micromanagement or being told specifically what to do with every assignment or task.
