Remote Editor (for Wedding Videos)

We're a high end, US based wedding photo & video studio in search of remote Editors who are all-stars when it comes to storytelling. We’re looking for individuals who are go-getters and know how to take initiative and provide creative solutions to continually raise the bar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicating with our Creative Director and Studio Manager to onboard edits as well as any and all pertinent editing notes and preferences.
Taking direction from our Creative Director to produce top quality films.
Sourcing and cutting appropriate music for each film based on clients' direction.
Using our file sharing service to upload films at each required benchmark for review.
Delivering a high end product that wows our clients on time.
Work hours: Pacific Standard ---------- Flexible


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience editing in Final Cut Pro X and Premiere Pro
Excellent communication skills
1-3 Years experience working remotely
A strong team player
Outstanding critical thinking skills & attention to detail
Ability to read, connect, and empathize with your subjects

Mac or PC computer with Final Cut Pro X and Premiere Pro that can handle 4k files
Appropriate internet speed at home for downloading and uploading projects and files
MUST provide an example of a finished project or most recent reel

Flat rate for each type of film, plus bonus incentives for experienced editors
