SEO Copywriter

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for an SEO Copywriter to develop and deliver content with the intent of increasing our organic traffic and supporting our ambitious customer growth objectives. You will be responsible for writing a variety of website content - product listings, blog posts and miscellaneous landing page copy - with an SEO first mentality. All content must be engaging, accurate and informative to customers, and whilst a fashion industry specialist will review all content, SEO copy that is in line with the brand’s tone of voice is a major plus.

Major Objectives:

- Use search engine optimization strategies to write copy that helps boost our website’s search engine ranking
- Create well written, engaging content for the website and content marketing campaigns
- Deliver copy requests as prioritised by the marketing and buying teams to ensure the online presence is maximising brand impact

Responsibilities:

- Create SEO optimised content across all website touchpoints, with perfect grammar and punctuation
- Use SEO copywriting best practice assessing the top ranking sites for a given search term and implementing winning strategies into all submitted SEO copy
- Review data from the Ecommerce Director highlighting what our targeted customers are looking for and how effectively we are gaining product rankings
- Ensure a consistent brand voice


JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Excellent English copywriting and literacy skills
- A working knowledge of technical SEO and analytics
- An excellent copywriter, with experience writing high performance, commercially driven SEO content
- Must balance writing for search engines and writing for people, appealing to-and persuading- readers
- Excellent attention to detail, passionate about accuracy
