Video Editor/Animator

We are looking for a talented video editor and animator to join our team as a Part-Time Video Editor. This is a contractor role where you will be paid a set fee per completed video. Each edit will have a very similar structure (approximately 8 minutes long) and consist of 80% high-quality stock footage and 20% animated text and character animation.

You shall be given a voice-over and a brief, of which you will then be required to find royalty-free stock footage and animated text slides that fit our brand, as well as graphic/character animations that help illustrate the story. There will be around 4-8 edits required each month, with the opportunity to increase to 12-16 edits depending on your creativity, communication and ability to turn around quality edits. Each edit shall need to be as engaging as possible by making suitable cuts between stock footage and animation where needed.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and time management. They will also be able to understand briefs and creatively execute each video to a high standard.

Experience in After Effects, Final Cut/Premiere Pro, is essential.
