Experienced Nutritionist for Pets (Dog)

SKILLS NEEDED

-Experience in evaluating chemical and nutritional composition of foods;
-Highly proficient in formulating diets and rations that maximize the growth, reproduction, and health of dogs;
-Compiling research for owners, and performing research in preparing food from scratch.
-Diet and nutrition planning based on dogs' activities and individual needs for lab research on dog nutrition.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Must be available for a call during EST hours;
-Prepare nutrition dog food from scratch;
-Prepare a balanced, nutritious homemade dog diet on a weekly basis;
-Monitor the quality of dog food formulations in order to ensure dog health standards are met.
-Study the nutritional requirements of dogs based on individual factors such as their ages and breeds.
-Adjust the diet of dogs based on the fatness or thinness of their diets.
-Examine nutritional disorders in dogs and suggest ways to fill nutritional voids.
-To assist pet owners in formulating diet plans tailored to their pets' needs.
-Offer nutritional advice to pet owners.

**This is a long time project, though part-time with a TRIAL RATE of $3.50/hr for 5 hours per week.
