JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there!

I'm looking for an experienced chrome extension developer to develop a simple chrome extension to automate some LinkedIn feature.

At a high level what I'm looking for in this plugin is to do these 3 things:
1) Automatically visit multiple user profiles
2) Send personalized connection requests to multiple LinkedIn
3) Send personalized messages to multiple LinkedIn
The messages and connection request are personalized by using replacement variables to use the person first and/or last name in the message.

In a little more detail this initial version of the plugin must be able to:

(from LinkedIn screen)
1) Select users from search result and add to queue
2) Display count of users in queue as badge count in extension icon
3) Go to extension Dashboard screen

(from dashboard screen)
1) Section to write the personalized message to users - here I want to be able to use variables like %FNAME% and/or %LNAME% which will be replaced in each message with the correct user name
2) Possibility to save message as template so it can be used in the future
3) Section to preview final message to be sent
4) Select Tags to Add / Remove to users when messaging them
5) List queue users with possibility to remove users from queue
6) Automatically detect first and last name for each person in queue, and allow for manual override if necessary
7) Buttons to start / pause / stop sending messages or visit profiles
8) After sending message, remove person from queue and added to progress list
9) Possibility to export queue list / progress list

Deliverables from you will be
1) Complete chrome extension code
2) Your code needs to be well documented

Can you help with this? If so, please give us a general idea on price (if it isn't exact, that's okay), timeline, how many hours/week you can dedicate for this project, and any previous experience you have.

Please answer these questions when submitting your application:
1. What challenging part of this job are you most experienced in?
2. What past project or job have you had that is most like this one and why?
3. What questions do you have about the project?
4. Which part of this project do you think will take the most time?
5. Why do you think you are a good fit for this particular project?

This will be the first version of the plugin, and I have plans for future version. If we're happy with the result we can continue to work together for longer term.

Thanks so much!
