The Role:
The Accounting and Administrative Assistant will be a key member of the team, seeking to work for a growing digital marketing agency. This role provides financial, HR, and administrative support to help drive the growth of Black Compass Digital’s business and its clients. This role will be a partner to the stakeholders by providing quality, transparent and meaningful reporting and bookkeeping to support key business decisions. This is a full time job with the expectations of working 40 hours per
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing
- Performing month-end closings
- VAT remittance and calculations
- Working with clients on bookkeeping
- Update internal databases (e.g. record sick leave)
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
- Revise company policies
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
- Inventory reconciliation
- Coordinate projects & tasks with internal team
- Any other adhoc tasks
